An Abstract Artist in San Diego, CA
Abstract Artist Wilna Wolf is a native Californian. Born and raised in San Diego. She spent countless hours of her childhood outdoors soaking up the beauty around her. Wilna recognized her artistic talent at a young age, knowing that creativity was a natural feeling and one day would become the main focus of her life.
She graduated from John Muir Alternative School of Humanistic Study’s and went on to receive her Associates Degree from the Advertising Arts College. She raised two beautiful daughters. She brought her love of art into all her life experiences.
Painting small commissioned projects for friends and coworkers and explored a wide verity of mediums, sculpture, mosaic, watercolor until she focused her energy onto the canvas with acrylic paint. Creativity has to be balanced with the other aspects of life. So, while working in her studio she dedicates and focuses on staying in the moment. This allows creativity to follow freely.
Her current series of work “Orbs and Auras” these colorful works move the view from the ridged confines of daily life into a free flowing unleashed movement of light and darkness. With the familiar shape of the circles a visual dance for the eye lifts from the canvas.
