Description

Almost like a magnified cross-section of a peacock feather, this piece combines purples, brilliant blues, rich maroon, and electric green. Circular stamps into the impasto paint give rise to the piece’s name. The bottom of the canvas has a slight fracture in the honeycomb pattern – the honeycombs zoom in for a closer look. The honeycomb, though beautiful, has a well-deserved interruption in this new perspective on the repetitive shape.
